The Maryland Golf Course Owners Association is a Local Chapter of the National Golf Course Owners Association.

NGCOA is the only international association devoted exclusively to furthering the interests of golf course owners and operators.

Membership provides you with strong tools to help you develop a more productive, efficient and profitable golf operation.

The Maryland Chapter provides support to owners dealing with common issues that affect you at the local level such as taxation, player development, environmental regulations, and sales and promotion in our market place.

Recent Accomplishments

In the short time that MGCOA has been an active organization, we have created many exciting partnerships and programs.

• Organized the Coalition of Maryland Golf Facilities (CMGF) to fight increased property taxes
• Instrumental in the creation of the Maryland Golf Guide with the Maryland State Department of Tourism
• Opened Important Channels of Communication between Private & Public Golf Courses
• Initiating a State Wide Economic Impact Study on the Golf Industry
